Automobiles are made up of several different components. There can be as many as 3000 parts even in the smallest of vehicles. These parts are designed to work in harmony with each other. Understanding the individual parts of an automobile is a very complex matter. Automobiles are comprised of four major sections which are: the engine, frame work, interior, brakes and wheels. These sections are further divided into millions of other parts, large and small. As the auto industry grows, there is also a growing demand for each of these parts. Vital parts of an automobile: Fuel Tank One of the most vital parts of an automobile is the fuel tank. The fuel tank stores and supplies fuel to the engine, and this is needed to make the car run. There are several different sizes in fuel tanks, depending on the make and size of the vehicle sleep deprivation . In general the fuel tank should consist of the following: 1. Storage: Every fuel tank is designed to hold a certain amount of gas. You should be aware of the amount of gas your car holds. Any kind of gas leakage should be avoided as it can be dangerous. 2. Gauge: This unit measures and indicates the amount of fuel which remains in the fuel tank. 3. Venting: The fuel tank should not be pressurized. If too much pressure is applied to the fuel tank, the valves should be placed at appropriate positions to avoid vapors. Brakes Brakes are also a very important part of a vehicle when it comes to safety and being able to avoid accidents. Steel of a very high quality is used to make brakes, in order to increase the performance of the rollers used to apply the brakes. An important part of the brake system is the pedal assembly.
